ok so I have had a request for the details of the labor so hopefully I won't give to many details out, but this is a warning it might be to much for some of you.
So we decided to be induced on the 17th. I was dilated to a 3 on the 10th and so the doc was more then willing to induce to whenever we wanted. I really did not want to be induced but I guess it was meant to be. My mom flew in on Tuesday. We went to the hospital at 4:20, I was having contractions but the were between 2 and 6 min apart so nothing very consistent. They started potocin at 6, and they broke my water at about 7. I was going to try going natural and was doing good until my water broke then it was no good. I went about a half hour and asked for pain medication, by the time the nurse got back with it I had decided to go ahead and get the epidural. So I got the epidural and was happy and relaxing about 20 min later. I was a 5 at 8:30 and an 8 at 10:00. The nurse said that she would be back to check in about 30 min. I said great! I was feeling good and just relaxing. At about 10:20 I got this pinch in my hip I could not get rid of I tried moving, rubbing it, anything I could do to get it to move. Nothing helped me. I had paged the nurse twice but I guess it didn't go though because she said it never rang.(side note I really liked my nurse. If I had to choose a nurse she would it!! she was awesome!) So when she came back she was very surprised at how much I had moved around. So she goes to check me and was like "there is a head, no wonder you are uncomfortable, We will get ready and see how well you push then call the doc." So she was busy getting stuff ready and came back to see how I pushed. she told me to push and then said stop. and she left the sheet up and went to do something else and so I pushed the sheet back down. She called the doctor and Said we were ready and another nurse in. She came back and lifted it up and went and did something else and I pushed it down. This happened like three more times. I felt so exposed cause she just left the sheet up. so the last time she lifted it up I told her so, she said "well there is a babies head and I have to make sure it does not fall in the bucket." I was like HELLO could have told me that earlier. I was so surprised that it had come down so fast that I cried and they were making me laugh and told me not to laugh till the doc got there. when the Doc got there I pushed like 4 times total and he was out. It was totally different from JD where I pushed for like 2 hours. It was AWESOME. I didn't tear or anything so I feel Great! I am so happy that I did get the epidural and that it went so fast with being induced. It was a total of 5 hours. I am so glad he is here and gets some time with his daddy before we all spilt up for a month. He is a very good baby. I am a little worried about jaundice and we will find out tomorrow if it has gone up or not.
Right now I am totally sore, I never got engorged with JD and am so surprised at how BIG I am!! If anyone has any suggestions I am more then willing to hear them!
I am working on getting more pictures.

wow! So glad things went so smooth! I got MAJOR engorged with both my kids! Cabbage leaves and ice worked great for me. The cabbage is pretty messy bit totally worth it!
Enjoy your boys!
yeah, speaking of engorged, I went from a 32 A to a 36 DD when my milk came in with Nixon... They do say cabbage leaves work, just leave them on there for a little bit and it'll dry your milk up some, but you have to be careful cause if you leave them on too long, they can dry your milk up completely! So I was always to scared to try it... so I just dealt with the engorment and the size F boobs I had for a couple days. Other then that I just pumped and dumped the milk cause I produced WAY to much. So I feel for ya girl! Good luck though! So happy to hear things went well! I hope i'm as lucky.
Thanks for the details! I hope that I can come to Utah and see you while you are there but we will see. I am glad that everything went so well. Cabbage leaves work for engorgement. Call if you have questions. Love ya
HI! So glad this is up! I am so happy to hear that i'm not the only one that couldn't take it once the water broke. I assume the epidural went better than planned... or the last one anyway. I would love to talk on the phone when you have time, I know your busy..
btw how is it being a mom of two? Can't wait to see you! Let me know what your plans are when your up and when amanda or whoever is coming to visit so I can see lots of you... or maybe i want you all to myself... *shrug*
Do you mind if I use Conner as a model?
Engorement... fun, painful! I never tried anything but cold and hot compressions and pump girl that stuff latest 8mo in the freezer and then you can have babysitter milk!!!! or daddy's turn.... I hated pumping because It never came out, the baby did a much better job but I wish I would have MORE when I was engorged because it shot out so fast it would have been great to have!!!
Love you guys, Can't wait to see you. Keep posted on the jaundice, I wondered with one pic on facebook he did look a little yellow, Sorry for the novel, but lay him naked in the sun every day twice a day for like ten minutes... It works. worked with Adlanna and Jaiden if I remember right.
Again LOveya xoxoxox
